Моя любимая инди рок группа, я познакомилась с ними, посмотрев трейлер к первому Бордерлендсу, услышав там эту композицию я влюбилась до костей в эту группу, я заслушала до крови в ушах многие их песни, некоторые учила на гитаре, пересмотрела все клипы и до сих пор иног��а пересматриваю. Знакомство наше про��зошло на втором курсе университета, тогда я вообще не знала что такое поиграть по интернету и что можно при этом ещё общаться, так вот мой одногруппник предложил мне борду и скинул трейлер посмотреть, изначально мы играли в дед айленд, захотелось еще чего-то и мы выбрали следующую игрушку. Эх. Спасибо что трейлеры всегда стараются подчеркнуть крутой музыкой.

Okay but in the song “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked” by Cage the Elephant I can honestly say that the only character in the entire song who is genuinely evil is the pastor who is stuffing his back account with righteous dollar bills. It reads to me like everybody else is committing their crimes for survival purposes. And sure the lyrics themselves compare the pastor to everyone else, including the narrator. But like it’s been my general understanding that the kind of pastors who take money from their congregation like that tend to be already independently wealthy and do not actually need the money. I’ve probably actually talked about this before because I’m getting some de ja vu writing this. IT’s just such a banger song.

sometimes when I’m feeling nostalgic for some naruto time travel fix-it shenanigans, I occasionally go back to read ain’t no rest for the wicked and mori-san to feel that warm cuddly feeling of ahhhh, that’s was a good read ☺️

I have so much nostalgia and love for all the ain't no rest OCs. my beloved OCs... Aya, Yuko, Izo... and of course the man himself, Mori. AND TEAM FOUR. The Team Four Dynamic is still so good to me. One mediocre man, his inexplicable fangirl, his edgy smartass, and his nerd. They're all so good.

Woke up annoyed that I hadn't slept well for the 3rd day in a row and with Ain't No Rest for the Wicked stuck in my head. Seems like a good way to close out the 4th for my fellow Americans, whether you had the day off or not.
